Floral Heels

So tomorrow is Canada day, but my dad wanted to celebrate today just in case it rains. For all my fellow Canadians reading this Happy Early Canada day! haha. Clearly, today's outfit was inspired by the occasion...well just the red. I found this top digging through my clothes, which I got when I was around 18 on sale for 10$! I have never worn it. haha My jeans are from Sirens and I ripped the holes in the jeans myself, rather than throw them out because it was falling apart. I love being thrifty! And I do realize now my purse was facing the wrong way :(, but it's almost the same idea on the other side anyways. I got it on sale !! SCORE!! My perfect floral heels were a perfect match. A lot of people I know told me not to get these shoes cause I would never be able to match it with anything. I am glad I did not listen, cause I actually find it really easy to! You just have to be creative, break some rules, or if all else fails..remember black matches with everything. Anyways, I have to tend to my hungry family! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend no matter where you are ;)

Pink and Orange

Summer is so amazing! First of all, I get to bbq almost everyday and I love it because it is such less mess than cleaning pots and pans! haha. Also, me and my girls get to enjoy the weather by going swimming or just relaxing outside. One way we like to cool down is my enjoying popsicles. We usually make our own healthy ones, which I will write a post about eventually, but on this day we just bought some. They evening matched the girls' outfits! Pink and orange was our outfit of the day inspiration :)

Lime in the Coconut

I am finally catching up on some posts! I have been a busy, busy mama with so many graduation functions, including my own! :) It is so bittersweet to see everyone grow up and starts new paths. This evening's outfit was for my sister's graduation. Yes, I did wear a cover up to the actual event..haha. But I really wanted everyone to see how cute this colour combo was. I call it lime and coconut. I think the subtle tone of the brown, really goes well with the bright neon skirt. Sometimes, when two shades offset each other, it can really be a perfect match. Almost like when you're cooking and you mix two very different spices or tastes together to create something amazing...Sorry I digress..cooking and food are always on my mind. haha.

Blue Stripes

I love this classy ensemble! It's fresh and the tone of the blue against the white really makes it pop. And the purse has to be one of my favourite finds! I found it during my shopping trip as a buyer for my school store project. I believe the store is called Hat house located in Toronto! It was such a great price too, I think around 15$.

Fun in acid washed jeans

I hope everyone enjoyed their father's day! We had a very busy day and enjoyed family time having brunch... Dim Sum..Yummmmm. I think I am still stuffed.  My dad and hubby were not into taking pics today, probably just too stuffed. But it was a pretty casual day and my outfit was pretty simple. Remember simplicity can also be chic! P.s my heels are about 5 years old and I bought them in the states, they were an impulse buy and I do not remember what the store was called :( sorry.
