Floral Patched Jeans

Yes you heard me, floral patched jeans. It has a certain ring to it don't you think? I am so in love with my new jeans, I probably will wear them everyday...lol gross.. just kidding. But seriously, I love the fact that two of my favourite things have come together at last, boyfriend jeans, and floral patterns. To top it of, I think summer has finally decided to arrive! A little late to the party but that's ok! Here are the few essentials I wore on this beautifully warm summer's day. I hope you enjoy, and please share your thoughts!

Cobalt blue and Turquoise

 Today's look was one of my favourite colour combos...ok I know I will probably say that a lot BUT I just love beautiful colour combinations! Turquoise and what I describe as a cobalt blue, are really suitable together and are both really calming for the eyes. I love blazers too! Without it, this outfit looked as if I was about to head to the beach, but as soon as I put the blazer on, it promoted a more classy and grown up style.

Teddy Bear's Picnic

Hello all! Today will be my first post that does not have to do with fashion. As you can see my page is under construction and I have changed a few things and plan to add more changes. I have decided that I could not just blog about only one of my passions. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and doing creative things with my daughters. The wheels in my head are always turning about what creative thing I can do next. So today's fun thing is making teddy bear toast! I saw this idea on Pinterest a while back and it was a hit with my daughters. I kind of resent the fact that my first food post is not a healthy recipe as I planned, but I believe that sweet snacks in moderation is fine.  So here it is! It is really easy!

You will need:
*Brown toast or Rye
*Blueberries
*Bananas - cut into slices
*Peanut Butter or in our case Cookie Butter ( my daughter is allergic to peanuts)

note: When you spread the cookie butter, try to create the face of the bear. Including the ears. If not it's fine.

 Get ready!

 Yumm cookie butter, moderation, moderation!

Top Knots and Jordans- Kids closet

Today Zahara was sporting her impeccable top knot ( thanks to mama) hehe. I like them to be done messy, not to mention that she does not stop moving while I do her hair. I promise you those poses are not planned or forced, that is her very own home grown sass. I use to try and bribe her to smile, but now I welcome her very own version of the "Zoolander" look. Elyana of course looking prim and proper as she prefers. That faux leather jacket is probably the most edgy she will go, although we do intend to try out different things in the future. :)

I love my Hubby

So I decided to rock my "I Love my hubby" shirt and a maxi skirt. I am honestly all about comfort. Admittedly, I often wear that shirt to sleep! I enjoy the occasional runway get up, but on regular days I am in flats, and oh how I love my flats. I actually have a bad back so my hubs hates when I wear flats. It ruins my posture. But my feet are in heaven haha. I should mention on this day we went to a nice fair trade cafe called Studio 89 I believe. It was really cute and you could draw on the tables with chalk, my kiddies loved that.

Fashion School

Today's outfit was a cross between, Urban and Casual. The Jogging pants with mesh panels were an easy fix for wanting to be comfortable and edgy at the same time. Now excuse me while I jump on the bus for fashion school!

Just kickin' it casual - Kids Closet

Twas a very relaxing day today. We ran a few errands and tried to enjoy the sunlight the few times it came out to say hello. I absolutely love the jackets I got them, I actually have very similar ones myself, and we LOVE to match :)

This one is for all the people who like Piña Coladas and getting caught in the rain. :) Who says you can't be fashionable while getting your feet a little wet? ...Although I do advise not to jump in any puddles while wearing leather shoes...:s Who knows where the nearest leather repair store is?
